I'm not a fan, honestly, of the new 52 DC universe. So much of it just passes me by unnoticed. But the idea of Giffen on the classic Kirby titles caught my attention. And while his OMAC series didn't last all that long it was fun and I think he did a great job redesigning the One Man Army Core. And to have that channeler of the King, Angel Gabriele bring some old school Kirby to the new version? Most cool :) Couldn't be more happy with how this turned out. Makes me wish I'd've asked him to do both versions fighting or something :)

Also, Angel's looking to raise some cash and he's not only got a cheap 1 character commission sale going on but he's selling a whole lot o' recreations too via his facebook page. Check it out!

This is excellent! I was one of those sad to see the New OMAC last only a few issues. I had sent a message to Angel on his fb page for some commission work for myself and never heard back :(

OMAC was without a doubt the best of the New 52 relaunch books, so of course it didn't last! Nice drawing from Angel. I dig that rubble.
