Description

DC Special #29 (1977) - While the comic book was on the stands a few years before my time, I was able to read this 1st ever origin of the JSA issue as a reprint in one of those 1980's DC Digest's.

Staton's GA Flash may have been the best ever, and the early Layton inks are amazing.

Fantastic acquisition!

Interesting to see how Joe tried to keep an element of the 40s/50s Batman look and at the same time conform to the then standard 70s Aparo/Adams cowl with extended ears look.

So agree with you about the Staton/Layton team just look at that final panel....it is beautiful and historic.
