Description

This brand new hybrid is a tribute to two giants, Alfred Hitchcock and Romano Scarpa.
Putting them together seemed to be the obvious choice, considering how much Hitchcock you can find in Scarpa's stories (he was a huge fan of the "Master of Suspense"), but I reckon there were other options considered, and simply this one clicked, better than the others.

Alberto chose one of Scarpa's creations, Ellroy (a.k.a. Bruto or Gancetto in Italy, Ellsworth's adoptive son), placed among a few disturbing and terrifying birds.
The unusual point of view, the fantastic composition, and the magnificent ink work all contribute to the raw power of the illustration.

Also included, in the additional images, are the prelim and an amazing color version (always by Alberto).
