Description

Daan JIPPES, also known as Danier, is a very famous Dutch artist whose virtuoso drawing style alternates between influences from Franquin and Floyd Gottfredson.
I met him in 2013 during Stripfestival Breda. There we agreed to draw a commission featuring the meeting of Mickey Mouse and friends (Goofy and Eega Beeva) with Franquin's creation, the Marsupilami.
I couldn't be happier with the final result.
Mr JIPPES must have appreciated it too because some time later he colorized it for his own purpose (see additional image).
