Description

I always wanted something iconic of Superman in terms of OA. Some collectors go after artists, I go after pieces I really like and of images of characters I like. This piece had it all.

You have Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane both sporting an astonished look as Clark Kent storms off to an empty room where the next thing we see is a determined looking Superman flying off from the Daily Planet to tackle whatever obstacle is being thrown his way. I liked it.

Wow! First of all, I'm amazed that this page has not received even a single comment in 4 years until now! But as you commented here on my own Superman page: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1639484

....there's really no need to chase after big name artists, especially when we are all truly buying our favourite characters more than anything else, and incredible looking pages can be found within the bodies of work done by artists who are not hugely sought after and collected. This Superman page of your is one that, had it been available and crossed my path, I also would have bought it. Because not only does it look spectacular, but it is guaranteed to be far more affordable than a similar looking splash with a big name artist attached to it. This is a brilliant piece!
