I'd enjoyed putting together the "last issue spectacular" covers that Mitch did for me so much that I couldn't help but think about building out that 80's Crusaders universe.

William is a wonderfully talented artist who'd done such a great Wolverine commission for me that I definitely wanted him involved with this Crusaders project - definitely check out his deviantArt page. I think he did a -great- job here. CatGirl's face alone makes the whole thing worth it to me. But, really, all the faces here are well done. This issue's cover is based on John Buscema's cover for Avengers #280. As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :)

Malevolence Part III

It's the final chapter of Malevolence! With Ashur Khan's Juggernauts finally defeated it's time to turn to the wounded and begin the clean-up. Doc Strong and Hercules return to their respective times and the Crusaders say good-bye to the Agents of Atlantis. As the clean-up at the Castle begins, the team takes time out to visit the Shield, still hospitalized after this injuries sustained last issue. Plus, CatGirl is faced with the question - with the aid of Hayden Burris's time machine she can finally return home but will she?

Nothing beats a "floating head" cover. I like the look of concern on their faces. NICE!
