Description

It's funny.

I had the volume "Disney d'Autore - Corrado Mastantuono" since it was published, in 2013, but I was never able to have Corrado to sign it, even though I brought the book with me at Comic Cons.
Then, last January, there was an exhibition in Rome where I knew I would also have had the chance to meet Corrado and I brought the book with me. I asked for a signature, instead Corrado asked me for a subject to draw. That was like offering candy to a kid!

My first idea was to let him free to choose the subject but I suddenly realized I didn't have a drawing of Bum Bum Ghigno and so I asked for that.
Bum Bum is a rotund duck character with protruding front teeth and thick black eyebrows who dresses in overalls and a red chequered shirt, created by Corrado and protagonist so far of more than 30 stories, that lives in Duckburg working as house painter (even though we have seen him in various short-timed jobs). He's a bungler, he's proud, clumsy and also a ninny, but he has a heart of gold.

He drags both Donald and Gyro, his best friends, in odd and bizarre adventures.

On the sketch, we have a joke with Bum Bum's favourite drink, tamarind.
