Description

A splendid page by the late Paul Ryan featuring the Thing fighting a powered gorilla. What's not to love?

I believe this page is a great example of Paul's storytelling abilities. Never flashy or bombastic but always dynamic and super solid. He always did the job, on time, and he did it very well, giving the impression he always did his best on the page, never shying away from drawing necessary details or backgrounds, something younger or flashier artists often tend to do. You can also see from his pages he thought about storytelling.

I personally really liked his rendition of Ben Grimm and his FF run was probably his quiet masterpiece.

R.I.P. Paul Ryan and thanks for all the great pages.
