DescriptionThe idea of these Crusaders covers was, at first, to continue having fun playing within the Crusaders universe itself. Then it became enjoying poking around the corners of Archie's heroic universe to see what was there. Now, as this "phase" of the Crusaders project comes to a close I thought about ending it as BIG as I could. Especially as I knew that I couldn't keep 3 cover series going at one time. And so I went with the ultimate biggest! A crossover between the greats - the Justice League of America, the Avengers and the Mighty Crusaders! Really, how could I have ~not~ done this and still be me?Alex's Perezian influences made him perfect for this series of covers. This many characters just needs someone with that kinda touch. And I was glad that Chris would be lettering these as I knew he could balance all the needed cover elements. If you enjoy these at all then know that all credit needs to go to these guys. Alex did a great job smushing everyone into that center image. If you want to see Green Arrow and Wonder Man in all their glory the unlettered version is below. The arrangement is based on the classic Perez JLA covers while the center image is inspired by Greg Larocque's cover for Legion of Super-Heroes #18. Another great job from Chris balancing out the needed copy against the art. And then there was color! Rob Shalda got in touch saying that he had to color this. I had no choice but to let him ;) Wonder Woman, Comet and Fly-Girl especially stand out. Rob gets better and better with each commission. As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :) Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... As the universes collapse into one the enemy is finally revealed - the enigmatic and immensely powerful Anti-Matter Man! After the clobbering our heroes took last issue can they marshal their forces to beat back the Anti-Matter Man and save their worlds? Especially as the distant cosmic Anti-Matter Man doesn't even seem to notice them! Read the senses-shattering conclusion we had to call "All Good Things Must End!"! This Issue's Cover ... The Greatest Heroes of All the Universes: The Fly, Fly-Girl, Wasp, Black Hood and Batman! Jaguar, Black Panther, Vision, Wonder Woman and Lancelot Strong! Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Beast, Zatanna and Scarlet Witch! look on in shock as their teammates Green Arrow, Aquaman, Comet, Flash, Elongated Man, Shield, Green Lantern, the Web, Martian Manhunter, Captain America, Superman and Wonder Man drift helplessly before the Anti-Matter Man! I got the Infinite Man cover right away . You add in "floating heads " and it is the icing on the cake....Great choice

Being a huge Infinite Man fan, I of course recognized the cover homage immediately and I love it!
