You are killing me. This art just came up on the Heritage website for auction. Look at the greens, or rather the lack of greens compared to the original comic cover. It looks like they're swimming in a sea of ----! I implore you. If you have put a gold key cover in a frame for viewing, seriously, seriously, consider taking it down unless you want a washed out painting. At least take it down and make sure that the ever present fade is not starting to occur!!!!! I just looked at an old Space Family Robinson Lost in Space #19 cover from the 60s that lost a lot of its vitality as a a result of displaying. And unfortunately most of the Dell/Gold Keys you see from this time are like this.

And wait until the lucky owner gets to see what is behind the framed section! It should show beautiful greens and large amounts of frame burn, so that the painting can never be taken out of the frame again for fear of others seeing the damage done to the painting! And of course heritage won't show you that, right?

Can you imagine what this piece would have looked like in its original state? Oh the humanity.....
