Description"Elsewhere, a desperate underwater scene is expertly rendered, as young Miller pulls out all the stops to impress, implying depth and desperation by re-sizing his panels to maximum effect (in a manner reminiscent of Steve Ditko). For his part, Roger McKenzie crafts an excellent story and his captions are poetic, evocative slices of oblique, shadowy noir..."Cosmic Treadmill: Daredevil #159 Retrospective What can I say… I'm very thankful to own this page with the cover scene from my first and favourite Miller Daredevil issue! Spectacular page. I remember this page and issue so well. Miller was already on fire by the second issue. A real beauty you scored here.

While I tend to favor the later DD issues that Miller wrote himself, this page is SOOOOO great! Incredibly memorable and that second panel is a tour de force. GREAT pickup!

It is a superb example of sequential art. Miller was aiming to impress and he succeeded.

Phenomenal page! Miller and Janson knew how to tell a story, and on this page, they told it well.
