Description

"You're joking!"

Page one of a 4 page sequence from Blue's Story, the tale of a French Foreign Legion deserter told to Charley Bourne while both are on the run from the Military Police. Trapped in the besieged Fort Vaux, the Legionaires are desperate for water...The American Legionaire Lacey, whose cowardice is redeemed over these pages is clearly based on Kirk Douglas from the 1963 WW1 movie "Paths of Glory'.

Stats were removed by editorial at the time. Contemporary replacements by the amazing Alan Marshall.
