Description

This is a very big page for me. Alan Moore's Swamp Thing is probably my favorite comic run I have ever read, and I am overjoyed to finally own a page from The "American Gothic" storyline. The page features Swampy gathering his forces Seven Samurai style to face the ultimate darkness. Characters featured here are Swamp Thing, Deadman, Phantom Stranger, and Etrigan the rhyming demon who rhymes on page. This issue also features the first major team up of supernatural heroes from DC comics I'm aware of. Many members of this group later formed the team Justice League Dark, and many have made the argument this issue is the teams first appearance.
