It's hard to imagine now, after decades of relative obscurity, that Namora -- cousin of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner -- was once sufficiently prominent that she could headline her own comic book.

Okay, so she only headlined it for three issues in 1948. But I'm willing to bet that's three more issues than you and I combined have headlined a comic book. So, you go, Namora!

Tim Tyler's art often reminds me of the EC Comics from back in the day, so he seemed a perfect choice to showcase another of our vintage heroines.
