Description

Way back in Action Comics #60 (May 1943), Lois Lane dreamed that she received a blood transfusion from Superman that imparted her Kryptonian superpowers. (Of course it's a dream -- how would they get a needle into Superman's arm?) Even though it's an imaginary story, the timeline qualifies Lois's appearance as Superwoman for Bombshells! status. The amazingly talented Pete Woods brings the Woman of Steel to life in this 34th addition to our nose-art-inspired gallery.

Coincidentally, Lois Lane will be the new Superwoman for Rebirth, so both a historical and timely commission!

I didn't hear about the Rebirth Superwoman until after this piece was commissioned, so it's historical, timely *and* completely coincidental. :D
