DescriptionUnder Carl Potts, Mike Mignola drew 10 covers for The Incredible Hulk. Of those 10, four* of them were inked by Austin, Williamson, Sienkiewicz, and Leialoha. This is one is all Mignola. It's obvious that he had to conform to the Marvel house style, but a little of that Mike Mignola Magic peeks through. From the story, "Call me Ismael, Call me...Hulk!"11" x 17" Ink over pencil on Marvel Comics Illustration board. I know I'm the odd man out here, but Mignola conforming to the Marvel house style is absolute perfection to me! Huge congrats on this outstanding cover!!!!

Love this era of Mignola, especially on these Hulk covers—and this is one of the best of those ten. Jealous congrats!

Congrats, John! Love this period for Mignola. Had one of these myself once upon a time (but not as nice as this one!). Was this from a local collector? A lot of early Mignola was originally sold here in the Bay Area...

I was never fan of the Hulk book but Mignola covers had me buying. Loved the way he drew him and loved Mignola's early style.
