Description

Three stellar Corto Maltese commissions arrived in the mail from Jordi this week. These are the end result of a commission adventure that ends well. I have the good fortune to call Jordi a friend and have had some fantastic art by him already including several commissions (see the Dragon Lady and Fiction House Jungle Girl pieces in this gallery). When the chance came up for another commission, I had Corto Maltese on my mind. The images are very much Jordi's signature style but he managed to capture Corto both in personality and aesthetics in these pieces. I think they are all masterpieces.

This one really feels like a Hugo Pratt scene. I've come to love the stories and art from the excellant IDW Eurocomics editions in English.
