Description

Joe Weems and I spent a considerable amount of time discussing the characters who would appear in his Common Elements entry. Ultimately we decided on two of Joe's favorites -- Sara Pezzini, wielder of the Witchblade, with whom Joe has had a long professional association; and Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat. As is often the case, the artist's affection for and connection to the characters shines through in the completed product.

Thanks to Joe's art rep, Tatiana Dykes at TD Art, for ensuring constant communication throughout the commission process.

This came out so beautifully, I really love the choices Joe made in the finishing of the piece. I always love your themes and it's so fun to see artists interpret them :-)
