DescriptionI've had a very special relationship with this piece. It was previously in the collection of the late Ethan Roberts, whom I met in 2002. This was one of the pieces from his collection that stuck in my mind, so much so that I asked Ethan if he could take photocopies of it for me so I could study it line for line in the original size. So in that sense, I have a history with this piece going back already 15 years, and now after Ethan's passing, I was able to acquire the actual original itself. I'm delighted that it's now mine, but I must say it's also a very peculiar feeling, finally seeing it "live" here after so many years!Social/Sharing |
