DescriptionWhy is it every time Spider-Man wins, he loses? Here Spider-Man has unmasked what he thinks is the defeated Hobgoblin only to discover it's his friend--And former enemy-- Flash Thompson. Of course, eventually he will find out Flash isn't the Hobgoblin, but in the meantime he will be tormented by anguished self-doubt. This is why we loved Spider-Man! Second issue of Amazing Spider-Man I ever read, about the third or forth comic ever. Nostalgia inducing bliss! Congrats, and thanks for sharing!

Spidey, deep town pondering if he should add a cape to his costume for a little flair. One of the more memorable covers of the high 200s run.
