Description

This is the original piece for the Disney Noir #5 cover, "Paperbond e altre storie ispirate agli agenti segreti", illustrated by Andrea Freccero (and then digitally colored by Max Monteduro, see the additional images).

It features Double Duck, the Donald Duck spy alter ego, in a hyper-dynamic pose and an amazingly confident and aggressive expression. And the gun. Whoa.

As you can see from the published piece, the editor ultimately decided to remove the gun, but here you can see the uncensored piece in all its beauty and glory.

I understand that an armed Donald is quite disturbing, but I can't imagine a Bond-like character without his gun... Great cover by Freccero!
