DescriptionPerez really is a master of the crowd scene. Whether it's a crowd of people running through the streets, a group of people protesting, a costumed parade of people fighting during Madi Gras or just a bunch of guys and gals having a good old fashioned bar room brawl, Perez somehow manages to compose dozens of unique characters into a single cohesive illustration capable of being both structured and chaotic all at the same time.I've wanted a piece exemplifying Perez's prowess in this area for a while, so I was very pleased to pick up this fantastic double page splash from issue number four of CrossGen Chronicles featuring the series Sigil. In these pages we are treated to an all out bar fight (in a space cantina no less!) with close to sixty unique characters having at it (I counted about fifty-seven in the large panel give or take a couple).
