Description

Cover painting for the book by Stephen Goldin, published by Bantam Books, 1988.

Painting is 23" x 37".

This book is the first in a series of 4 books called the Parsina Saga, all by Stephen Goldin.

I wish the photo could convey the overall glow Bober captured in this painting. His glazes of red decorative accents, the blue window near the back of the room and the red vase on the top step at the right all glow as if lit from behind. His highlights on the walls and ceiling are all yellow raised dots of paint that capture light and sparkle. The detailed line work in the rotunda are ink lines showing through washes of paint. This is definitely one painting that needs to be viewed in person to really be fully appreciated.
