DescriptionAnother page from this very fun mini-serie which I enjoyed tremendously mostly because of the fantastic art provided by David Williams and Gary Martin.I have been following David’s art for years now and however incredibly talented he is as an artist and storyteller, his interior art remains too rare. The main incentive here was having the full team of Power Pack and the Hulk on the same page. The first panel obviously delivers in spades on that front. Other bits I really like is how Alex really seems to be floating in panel 3 as opposed to standing in the air as many artists would draw this scene. Look how his body is tilted and the position of his feet. He really seems like he is weightless. The following panel I also love as the Hulk looks like he is having trouble understanding what is asked of him, playing on the big dumb brute (with a big heart) aspect of the character. David really nailed him here. Great page all around by a fantastic artist and storyteller. Social/Sharing |
