DescriptionI’ve been a Bill Wenzel fan since forever. During his career, he sold thousands of cartoons, gracing books and magazines with his distinctive artwork. The author of COFFEE, TEA OR ME? credited Wenzel’s art for helping to make the title a bestseller. Many of Wenzel’s illustrations were done on paper or thin board. This was created on 11” x 15” heavy board and came to me with an 8 ½” x 11” prelim. The board is marked as APPROVED 10/21/70. If you think you might know where it was published, please share. A bombshell of a good girl beauty! People weren't allowed to be outside during her ride, so great gag to bring her to you. The horse makes a cautious approach with a trail leg acting on behalf of Lady Godiva.
