Description

A Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Dave Cockrum & Rudy Nebres's cover art to JOHN CARTER #11 as a book cover for A PRINCESS OF MARS. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board.

This Cockrum cover has been used as a cover to the paperback of A PRINCESS OF MARS before, but i wanted to see it with something approximating the title font of the old ACE paperbacks - even though ACE never had the rights to the Barsoom series. Bruce was willing to oblige me!
