DescriptionI saw a Usagi commission Eric did for another collector and absolutely loved the Toshiro Mifune-esque character he was able to infuse into the drawing so when I met Eric at Wondercon this weekend I knew I had to get one of my own! Thanks! I love that anytime Eric draws something he’s constantly designing and redesigning to squeeze every ounce of character out the subject!

Love Eric's version of Usagi!
It's one of the (many) characters Eric draws so well, I wish I was a bigger fan of the character, so I could justify getting a commission of them for myself ;-)

I’ll be honest, I like Usagi as a character but I actually haven’t read that many of his comics but when I saw Eric’s version of the character I knew that’s what I wanted. He’s just too good! It was between Usagi and Cable (someone Eric also draws extremely well) but ultimately I don’t really have any connection with that character at all so Usagi won out. Plus I do love the movie Yojimbo 😄
