Description

Original cover art for The Inspector #14, published in 1977. The artwork is on large art board which measures approximately 12 1/2" by 19". The Pink Panther is a separate piece that has been pasted on to the board. If you hold the piece up to light, you can see what looks like the same image underneath slightly to the right, so it looks like they copied it and pasted over along with some whiteout in order to move the placement of the Pink Panther figure closer to the Inspector. Please note that the board does have some wear, with several crease lines. There is a light fold line down the middle, as well as a few angled creases around the sides. The image of the published comic in picture 2 is for reference only, and is not included. As one of the most beloved and famous animated cartoon tv characters of all-time, The Pink Panther has a long and devoted fan following, and collectibles of all types are always in demand. But a one-of-a-kind piece of art like this is truly special.
