Gerolf Van de Perre
(b. 11/3/1965, Belgium)

Gerolf Van de Perre was trained as a painter. In 2003, his comic 'Steenstof' was published by Oogachtend. The story was created after a long trip to Beijing in China, which Van de Perre made with his wife. Moved by the living conditions he observed there, he began working on this painted comic, for which he got government back-up.
