Description

Gene Day was one of the finest artists to ever work in the comic book field. I'm so happy to have such a fine representation of what he did best with his art.

No one did layouts like he did. He was like a great film director as he utilized each panel, one after the other to build more and more drama. Every page a masterpiece of it's own.

And how about that Karloff likeness he pulled off in his depiction of Fu Manchu!!!! As a huge Universal Horror film fan... I just LOVE this! What a bonus!

Wow, wow, and wow. Gene Day was kung-fu fighting when he created this page. The vertical panels divided by a narrow horizontal is a great design. The use of the eye in every other panel provides a great segue. This is worth studying.
