Description

I was to visit again with my long time friend Alec in Brussels at the beginning of November and set up this commission with him. I asked if he would do a tribute piece to icons of Franco-Beligian BD. Here is what he surprised me with. I am very happy to add a new piece by Alec to my collection and a nice souvenir of a comic art adventure. While visiting with him for the afternoon he drew me a sketch as well as we talked. It is in the additional images as well as a picture of Alec drawing in his home studio. For reference, the characters include Tintin, Milou et Capt. Haddock (Herge), Barbarella (J-C Forest), Spirou, Fantasio et Spip (A Franquin), Nero (M Sleen), Asterix et Obelix (A Uderzo), Lucky Luke (Morris), Les Schtroumfs/Smurfs (Peyo), La Coccinelle (M Gotlib) and the others are in the book!.
