Description

PK Un Nuovo Eroe (A New Hero) is the name of the comic book volume, published on the occasion of Lucca Comics & Games 2019, which saw the relaunch of that character who in the second half of the 90s had reached remarkable popularity.

"Another time, another place, but the same masked duck ever. "Un Nuovo Eroe" is the new and unedited story in which we will find the super duck who, after having faced Evronian emotional vampires and a series of endless enemies for years, this time will have to appeal to all his resources to get out of the space-time trouble in which he found himself."

This is the final cover illustrated by Andrea Freccero, you can see from the various prelims how the artist got there, first trying to fully respect Lavoradori's concept, then adding his own spin to the picture with the character that seems to pop out from the page.

A truly amazing piece, powerful and dynamic, even though the choice to create something not 100% tied to the events of the story inside is something that seems to tell us right from the cover that most of the things that made PK "PK" are not there anymore. Reading the story only confirms that impression, basically it's a Paperinik adventure with PK characters, clearly aimed at a younger audience.

ehehehehe... I decided to post the pieces chronologically, from Alberto's concept to Andrea's first prelims and then the final piece, I believe it is interesting to see them in the right order, following the creative process
