Description

�� Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett met with a network executive who proposed a teen Batman series. While initially reluctant, they developed Batman Beyond into the story of young Terry McGinnis becoming the new Batman under the guidance of an elderly Bruce Wayne. I enjoyed the television series, the direct-to-video Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and the comic book series. Craig Rousseau and Rob Leigh drew many of the comics. I purchased a couple Kim Possible commissions from Craig in 2003 and 2004 and a Marvel Her-oes page in 2014. I wavered over some of his Batman Beyond pages earlier and pounced when Craig had his kids scan a stash of old pages and put them up for sale at his Craig Rousseau online shop this year. On this page, Dana Tan is traumatized by rats which recall her kidnapping. Terry comforts her while she recounts her experience. The page is finished off with a nice panel of Batman saving the girl.
