DescriptionI look back on my times meeting Jack Kirby wishing I had picked up a piece, or more, from him. I appreciate his work more as I get older. So when I saw Angel Gabriele's reinterpretations and how Angel caught the Kirby spirit in his drawings I was hooked.This is one of my favorite Angel/Kirby drawings. Angel was in need of some cash and I had seen some b/w versions of this. So when I saw this piece I picked it up with a few others over time. I only have two color pieces by Angel. He had a tendency to do the same recreations over and over, and this was the only color version of this Galactus drawing I had seen. Social/Sharing |
