DescriptionIt was around 2002 when I saw artist Tommy Lee Edwards’ gorgeous artworks on the covers of Star Wars roleplaying game books. I haven’t seen anything like it at the time. His art had the let it loose kind of attitude with his sometimes angular color pencil work creating dynamism to his illustrations. This prelim of Boba Fett was for the Star Wars, Empire #28 cover published by Dark Horse Comics in 2004. Tommy used pencil, pen, inkwash and other medium on 14” X 17" paper. You can see the finished painting HERE in my gallery. Social/Sharing |

In certain ways, this piece is cooler than the final one. Definitively one that shines in B&W!
Another great addition to a fantastic collection! :-)
