Description

This new hybrid is a tribute to the director Peter Greenaway and one of the most important Disney concept artists for animation, and also Walt Disney's personal favourite, Mary J. Blair.

"The Belly of an Architect" is a 1987 drama film directed by Peter Greenaway, the story of an architect supervising an exhibition that starts having mysterious stomach pains while his life slowly falls apart

Unlike the previous hybrid pieces, you won't see a Disney character repurposed to be the protagonist of the movie, so the tribute to Mary J. Blair is more subtle, in terms of construction, shapes, synthesis, and feeling.
I believe it was really challenging for Alberto, but ultimately deeply satisfying.
