Several things strike me as I look at this page: 1. So much WORK went into comic art pages back in the day; this page is dense with detail, both in terms of artwork and storytelling. True craftsmanship on display. 2. Sam Grainger was a great inker--there's so much depth and texture to the page. 3. Lettering is a lost art--love how emotive and fun this lettering is; so vibrant, it's not just delivering information but it's helping to tell the story through its fluid variation. Great stuff!

This little run of Sal's is under appreciated but John was at the tip top of his game at the time most anyone would have been frowned upon. Nice page-
