Description

Thanks to the eagle eye of Illustration expert Fred Taraba I know this is by Elbert Moran Jackson. My guess is it is an illustration for a mystery or adventure story in Cosmopolitan (which regulary ran mysteries) Colliers or the Post though he also worked for other slick magazines

I pick up a lot of Mystery art partially because I like it and partially for use in my History of Mystery exhibit but to use it there I need to know what story and author it is from . As such any help with IDing the book , magazien issue etc where it appeared would be most appreciated.
