DescriptionSometimes art just finds a way.My brother and I read the heck out of Age of Reptiles growing up. It's an incredibly compelling story told textless and vividly illustrated by Ricardo Delgado. The second Age of Reptiles mini-series, "The Hunt," won Eisner awards for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition and Best Limited Series. All the series' are fantastic and I encourage everyone to check them out if they haven't. This cover is from the first mini-series, "Tribal Warfare." This series is particularly nostalgic for me as it is the main one my brother and I read growing up. Ricardo's work is simply beautiful and it's an enormous honor to own the second ever cover to his long running work on Age of Reptiles. This piece is also HUGE, measuring over 19" x 25". Great thanks to Eric who put me in touch with Ricardo and a huge thanks to Ricardo for selling this piece. Published: December 1993 Social/Sharing |

You're welcome Rob! And this is exactly why I did it. First, just to give Ricardo's amazing work a little more exposure on CAF. And second, we Age of Reptiles fans have to stick together. Haha! Man, you are so lucky I didn't jump on this when I first saw it. I came SO CLOSE. But I'm ecstatic that it found a great home with a real fan. And I bet you weren't prepared for how big these pieces are. Like I said in one of my descriptions, dino-sized. LOL! Anyway, I'm glad it all worked out and you got an awesome cover you love. Dinosaurs rock, and so does Ricardo!
