Description

This piece holds a unique significance for me, as it's one of the few official Resident Evil paintings and a nostalgic reminder of my childhood. I was deeply invested in the S.D. Perry Resident Evil book series as a kid. I never got to play Code Veronica itself, so the book was the only way to experience the story. The book's gruesome cover struck me so much, I recreated it in my middle school art class, and now, to own the original painting is a bit of a surreal experience. This traditionally painted cover is also the only non-digital cover to grace this series of books, and it's a standout for all the right reasons.

The piece is painted in gouache by the masterful hand of artist and professor, Stephen Gardner.
