Here we have the 1st of 2 original Star Wars pin-ups by the very talented and up and coming Professional Comic book artist Josh George, featuring Darth Vader and two of the most feared Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy, Boba Fett and Dengar, from The Empire Strikes Back.

I gotta say, I ran into the prints for sale of these originals on Josh's Ebay store and I was blown away by the art. I reached out to him to see if the originals were still available for sale and lo and behold he stilled had them. I must be a lucky Guy. Right place right time.

Before this weekend and in all honesty, I had never heard of Josh George. These pieces are the debut listings of any of his artwork in Comicartfans. Josh has already had the fortune of being published in two issues of 2000AD, 2 stories for Zenescope, and 2 covers for Zenescope. One Cover was a Robyn Hood issue and another was for Grimm Fairy Tales, thus earning him the title of Professional Comic Artist.

I think Josh George has a bright future ahead of him as a cover and panel page comic artist. He just needs a little extra push to get his foot in the door at either Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, or IDW. Maybe somebody with the right connections in here will see this listing and give him a much deserved shot as a regular artist for one of the major publishing companies on a mainstream title. I personally look forward to seeing future work from him on mainstream comics. It is not a question of if, it's a question of when he will get his shot. The Man has got the chops and is hungry to work.
