DescriptionAfter trying for a couple years now, I finally got a Chris Sprouse commission!Chris is one of my favorite artists (as you can tell from looking at my galleries) I was thrilled when an opportunity came up with some time in his schedule to take on a commission for me. I wanted Chris to do something I hadn't seen him do before. I love his Supreme, Tom Strong, Justice League, Black Panther, Legion, Star Wars, and other work, but wanted to see him do something I hadn't seen before. I have a big soft spot for the 1940's era Justice Society, and decided to have him do a piece with a few of my favorite characters. SO pleased with how this turned out. Chris is one of the greats. He let me know that he had done an initial version that he was not happy with, and decided to start over, but that he would send that piece to. I figured it was a pencil version that he decided to redo...no, it was a fully inked completed piece that he just felt he could do better on. I have uploaded this piece as well. Chris is a perfectionist and a master artist, and it shows in his work and dedication. Social/Sharing |

Fabulous piece! Sprouse would be perfect for a JSA series set in the Golden Age.

Outstanding piece, I also love Chris’s work and love the characters you choose for this commission.
