DescriptionThis is a set of 2 Original Art Pages from D.C. Comics Presents #51, published by DC Comics in 1982. This is Pg. 13 and 15 from the Superman and Atom team-up story, which also featured Superman's great-grandfather, Var-El, with artwork by the legendary Alex Saviuk (known for decades of great work, including a classic run on Web Of Spiderman). The pages have clipped corners, which is common on art from this period, and also have some blue pencil circling and pasted in text corrections. DCP was a great team-up book, giving the Man Of Steel a different companion each issue, similar to what was done with Batman in Brave and the Bold and Spider-Man in Marvel Team-Up. With the Krypton SyFy TV series shining a light on Superman's ancestors, this is a story that deserves another look, and this was a classic issue which also included the He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe preview.Social/Sharing |
