Size: 12.5" x 10.5" light animation paper with 3 holes.
Virgil Ross Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck (as Bugs Bunny) Illustration Original Art (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). Virgil Ross (1907-1996) was a long-time Warner Brothers animator who worked in the Bob Clampett, Tex Avery, and Friz Freleng Units. He was known for his action and dance sequences as well as his facial expressions. He animated on three Looney Tunes shorts that received Academy Award nominations - "Tweety Pie", "Birds Anonymous" and the only cartoon that Bugs Bunny won an Academy Award for, "Knighty Knight Bugs." Mr. Ross began releasing hand-painted Limited Edition cels of progressions of his famous Looney Tunes scenes as part of the "Masters Collection" for the Warner Brothers Studio Stores and animation galleries. He began making personal appearances where requests for original artwork were met with him doing one of a kind drawings of the Looney Tunes characters as well as other cartoons he worked on for other studios. He was given the prestigious Winsor McCay Award in 1988. This is a one of a kind Virgil Ross original drawing of Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck (as Bugs Bunny, complete with carrot). It may have been inspired by the 1947 smash hit, "Along Came Daffy". Produced by Mr. Ross in blue pencil on 12 field animation paper, and hand-signed. In Fine condition.
