DescriptionThere aren't a ton of Gaydos Alias pages featuring Marvel heroes in costume, so I was very happy to pick this up in 2017. This is from the origin issue where Jessica Jones discovers she can fly, but ends up landing in the ocean and almost drowns. Luckily, Thor comes to the rescue.The page is signed by the artist as well as a large signature by the writer, Brian Michael Bendis. Sorry that the bottom of the scan is slightly cropped. I've included an image of the published page for reference. I'm interested in any other nice Alias/Jessica Jones pages with action/heroes/villains or any of the nicer pages by Mark Bagley. Yeah! Great page, and getting the costumed hero by Mr. Gaydos is always a treat... It was fun how hero appearances were deliberately dropped only occasionally in this terrific book, underscoring Jessica’s (chosen) position (at the time!) on the fringes of the Supers. I love how this flashback page has a real Kirby feel to it, especially the last panel, with its blocky feet setting down... Super cool! Congrats!

Thanks -- agreed that having few hero appearances in the series made Jessica seem like an outsider in the Marvel Universe. It was also clever that they had Bagley draw the flashback scenes featuring lots of heroes. I need to get one of those pages one of these days.
