Jeff Jones did some amazing work for Warren. Here is a collaboration where Bill DuBay pencilled and Jeff Jones inked the final product. When the prior owner sent me a scan of the art, I liked it, but wasn't floored by it. When I saw it in person, I couldn't take my wallet out fast enough! It is a tad different than Jeff inking his own work. But, as accomplished and talented as Bill is, Jeff's inks brought average art into a totally different realm. The art is beyond three dimensional! Just proves how important a masterful inker is to the end result. From what I was told. Bill and Jeff were personal friends. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is definitely a rare instance where Jones inked another artist's pencils...

I'm not aware of more than a few instances where Jones inked others so I'd say a rare gem!

Thanks Mark! That's what was told to me. I always like to confirm info from different sources before I keep it as fact...or as factual as info can be....

Wow, the detail, the sense of depth and the minute details Jones gives DuBay's pencils is awe inspiring.
