DescriptionIf you're at all familiar with my collection, you probably know that Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw's "Thanos Wins" is one of my all-time favorite comic book arcs. Thus it could not excite me more to add the entirety of Thanos #17 to my collection. Thanos #17 is easily one of, if not the best issue from the entire 6 issue arc. It features the story's climax as Thanos, Old King Thanos, Cosmic Ghost Rider, and the Hulk duel against Silver Surfer: Black, who is now imbued with the powers of the Fallen One, the Annihilation Wave, and Mjolnir. Every single page of the issue is pure action. Containing 5 full splashes, 1 double page spread, and at least 3 three-quarter page splashes, this issue is an absolute dream for an art collector. There are almost a dozen pages with cover quality images.The cover for the issue is also one of the best of the run - paying homage to Jim Steranko's famous The Incredible Hulk Annual #1 cover. This cover is also the first cover appearance of Silver Surfer: Black. Unending thanks to Ryan for helping make this happen. This is truly a gem I will forever treasure in my collection. This is fantastic! These complete issues are so good that even the Dealmakers of Comic Art won't be able to make a deal for them!

Love that you it what it's homaging that it's still so much of a departure in terms of the characters that it really does stand by itself as a great piece of art! Love how it's not so clear how it's his board at the bottom :) Congrats!

OMG! What a gorgeous cover by the incredible Geoff Shaw! He's such a terrific artist! I love the homage to the Incredible Hulk Annual #1 here. Substituting Thanos' Infinity Glove is genius! Congrats!
