Description

Adding a Jack Kamen original into my collection was very important to me. A fan of first his work for Iger Studio on the Fiction House titles, and even more so the beautiful things he did for E.C. later. Kamen's depiction of scheming women and men within the SuspenStories title is absolutely perfect. Unfortunately those do not seem to become available these days.

When I saw this Inspector Dayton strip being offered I jumped on it. Having a signed piece from Jack ( even produced on stamped S.M. Iger Bristol board) becomes a fun addition into my collection.

The Inspector Dayton character first appeared in issues of Fiction House's Jumbo Comics and was drawn by a variety of artists. He was a police officer. Many of his cases were whodunit style mystery stories, similar in feel to the movie whodunits of the 1940s.
