Began collecting comic books as a kid with Captain America #140. Amazing John Romita artwork as Cap and the Falcon square off against the Grey Gargoyle. The star spangled Avenger remained my favorite character throughout my youth with the marvelous run by Sal Buscema.
Fairly recent original artwork collector (and even newer to CAF) with a focus on the great Fiction House comics of the Golden Age. Always interested in adding artists from those titles into my collection. The most desired of all would be Wings Comics art from Bob Lubbers. Additional interests are Carol Day strips by David Wright, and works from John Buscema, Doug Wildey, Milton Caniff, Nestor Redondo, Alfredo Alcala, Gene Colan, Johnny Craig, Jack Kamen, Bernard Kriegstein, John Romita Sr. , David Finch, Aaron Lopresti, George Pérez, Eduardo Barreto, and John Byrne.
