DescriptionI had been wanting to get a nice George Tuska Iron Man cover for years. While he did many, many IM interiors, he did not do that many IM covers. And the few I have seen privately or at auction were before my collecting time. Then thankfully this cover came out of hiding in an auction--right in my sweet spot. I was especially happy as in my view this is one of his best IM covers and an issue I have nostalgia for (even if the story is a bit silly). Plus it's a nice book-end to the IM #49 cover I own--- because the villain here is actually a crazily transformed Super Adaptoid, whom IM fought in IM #49.Social/Sharing |

Nice cover. Always wonder why Tuska didn't do more covers...he was definitely as competent as many of the cover artists of the era...

Wow! Was actually very surprised to learn you did not have a Tuska IM cover. But I'm so happy you finally found the right one. You can't be an IM collector and not have a prime Tuska piece. This one's a gem. Congratulations!
